Aki Kettunen is an electronic music producer from Finland born in 1980. He’s been working with different kind of styles since mid nineties and was focused on computer-scene based music back then (trackers). After hearing stuff from some hard techno labels, he started DJing hard pounding techno with aggressive mixing style in national events since year 2000.

In early 2000 he also started moving into more serious music production, and his first release was a participation to Chris Liebing’s CLR-label’s remix competition, from which he got his track selected in the top 4 of 400 entries.

These days, his sound can be recognized from dark atmospheric backgrounds with strong, more or less distorted beats.

Techno, Electro, Industrial DJ & producer born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan (1977). Kuniaki Takenaga’s music career began in 1997 influenced by The Prodigy, Ken Ishii, Fumiya Tanaka and the djs’ at the famous Juliana’s Tokyo club.

Takenaga sent his first demo to Takaaki Itoh’s WOLS label from which 2 tracks ended up being included in a 2003 compilation put out by Sheep Records (Germany) SH032-Various-East-Meets-West. In 2004, 2 tracks were included in SH038-Various-World-Herding-Championships-Part-1 and 2005 in SH040-Various-World-Herding-Championships-Part-2.

He has also released on UK’s Damon Vallero’s, Electracom label ECOM21-various- Components III EP (Oct 2004). His track ‘Centrals’ on the Components III EP received praise by respected DJs including Grovskopa (Sweden), Tuomas Rantanen (Finland) who has a track on the same EP, and Yourhighness (Maracas, Sweden) and of course Vallero (also included on the ep) whose label had released the EP. Others who recognized his unique talent included Yasushi, Hiroki Esashika (Intec), Genn, Hiroaki Ilzuka (Symbolism, Soleil), and SUDO (Elektrigger).

A year later, in 2005, his own 4 tracks vinyl entitled Phantasmagoria (12”) MK010 was released on UK’s Manuke [Pure Plastic] label. One of the reviews by Boston DJ Paul Dailey had this to say:
“Four dark, evil, rocking tracks from newcomer Kuniaki Takenaga and the Manuke crew. The two standout cuts here are “Phantasmgoria Noel”, a menacing hard rocker with ferocious rhythms and ominous synths, and “Meltybladdia” an ass-shaking, body-rocking techno mover. Strictly for the forward thinking and headstrong amongst you; this is some sinister stuff.”

In 2006, his track Phalunx was included on Asian Dynasty’s release [AD-Digital001]- Various Artists – Perfect Strangers “Hard Techno”.

Kuniaki has founded his own label Dispired Recordings in 2008 and the rest is history.Takeshi el niño The work by the solo of collaboration EP of o and Marco Rane and Peter Gual has been released. Remix EP is being produced with Dispired Industrials now.

Remix EP of Gayle San and two works of the compilation are scheduled to be released from Elektrax in 2010 this year. It is an artist who cannot take his/her eyes off to the development in the future.

Born in the so called “Techno city” Porto in 1983, multi-talented producer Shaun Mauren, discovered his passion for Electronic music when still a young boy. He’s talent was spotted by his family, who gave him full support to take the next step into the Dance Scene. Playing in small venues and parties, rapidly was invited to play in major clubs in Portugal. Not satisfied only with the DJ business, and playing someone else’s tracks, Shaun Mauren then takes the next step into production, producing from Deep House to Hard Techno.

On his first release on Rapid Fire Records, “Nature Of Life” a Beatport exclusive, he had support by Top Dj’s, such as Laurent Garnier, Dylan Drazen, Dave the Drummer and many more. With releases on Elektrax Recordings, Distorted Audio Records, and upcoming releases on Foot Fetish Records, Rapid Fire Records, Star Traxx Reloaded, just to name a few.

For private reasons he remained silent for nearly 8 years, but came back in full strength, some people say that Shaun Mauren came out of nowhere!! Using the most sophisticated software and hardware, Shaun Mauren’s tracks are top productions, made to the highest level possible. Now based in London, sky is the limit for this young producer.

In 2000 she was voted number 6. of the most popular international DJs in Germany. Given the massive competition of the worlds DJs it was the honour of her hard work in the last years. DJing has naturally led to various studio work.
