Darkmode aka David Dodds first started producing music back in 1998 when he was studying a 2-year course in a BTEC National Diploma in Music Technology. He used a Kurzweil K2000 synth and an 808 Drum Machine and recorded the tracks down on a 4-track porter studio.
David is rapidly gaining a name for himself as he was top pick in DJ MAG Pick N’ Mix in 2006 for one of his live sets. Some of his material has been getting heavy support from Chris Fink, Jon Rundell, Submerge101 & Shelly Parker. Darkmode has played along side established artists such as Radioactive Man, Ben Long, Phil Kieran, Marco Bailey & Ignition Technician.
