DJ CODE from Taiwan, presents the latest techno sounds out of Asia in his debut “The Gate EP”, where he combines elements of electronic music mixed with traditional Chinese percussion instruments and vocals.

Code sets things in motion with the electro-goa-tranced acid bliss of Buddha. The track was inspired by buddhist visionary, Sister Li-Fang; through divine & soothing vocal, the song provides ever-ending energy fusion, between buddhist scent & funky breaks tempo. With this divine-centric union, Code wishes to share this feeling with the world.

Second track, A Little Girl Dreams is an innovative progressive house track that uses music and voices from Chinese opera blended with traditional percussions and modern house rhythms.

The final offering, Gate, is the true spirit of this EP. DJ Code pushed the boundaries of minimal and electro-house production with a clever use of pipa (a plucked string instrument with a fretted fingerboard) and some tricky filtering techniques. This one is guaranteed to explode on the dance floors during peak-hour sets.
