Kata Mercado Vrsalovic was born in Santiago de Chile in 1989. With Croatian heritage, she developed strong interests in fine arts during her childhood, finally focusing on music. Her professional career started in 2006 and her talent was soon recognized. In short time she had booking requests for events in Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina and Colombia. After moving to Berlin her sound took a radical change, morphing into more Acid and Industrial beats, which were played at the legendary TRESOR. She recently released her first EP: “Freed” on Ketra records.
Actually, she made 2 remix for Mark Morris on Eklero Records 12″ one for Sven Wittekind on Sick Weird Rough Records and is coming her debut recording on Sienna Obscure.
