Starting out as both a vocalist & DJ in the ’90s, she cut her teeth with a reggae band and a jazz soul band in the very same breath – and, as a DJ, took on an active part in the Japanese underground scene when there were few other Japanese girls DJs. Orange played at happening Tokyo venues like Warszawa, Jirocyo Bar, MC1000, Catalist, Gothic, Asia, Apollo, Bless, and BCBG (before Muse). After 2000, she began to dabble with live broadcasting on radio (FM Salus and Music Magic on Shibuya FM). As of 2004, Orange decided to dedicate herself to production, and three years later has released her own music through Beatport, iTunes etc.
