ABOUT Sebastian Groth

Sebastian Groth was born 1984 in Westerwald near Frankfurt aM, Germany.

DJ and producer discovered early his musical interests. At primary school he already created his first “band”. In the early 90’s he was passionate with the electronic music in form of rave (Moby / Westbam / Hooligan…aso.) and so quickly emerged the instrumental music.

At the age of 12, he acquired his first music production software. He learned fast, so only two years later followed the turntables and his DJ career took its course…

Bookings in clubs like U60311 / Frankfurt aM, Butan Club / Wuppertal, Tor 3 / Dusseldorf, at festivals like Ruhr in Love / Oberhausen or radio performances such as Sunshine Live, are only a few of the stations on his successfully DJ career.

From the year 2000-2006, he operated in the notorious party series ‘the castle-freaks’ as original member, presenter and resident – DJ. He brought the first world elite DJs to the little scene in Westerwald, Germany and celebrated relevant achievements.

In 2008, his first international Records was released: The “How are you EP” landed straight away in the top 5 if the relevant national club music store charts. The following releases were played and supported by the biggest DJs as Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Laurent Garnier, DJ Hell, Blake Baxer, Len Faki, Thomas Schumacher, Stephan Bodzin, Popof, Someone Else, and George Morel.

Last loved Sebastian’s music so much that he signed him for a remix for his all time classic “Let’s Groove” and one more track named “Get on it”. Besides he gave Sebastian the possibility to release his tracks on the international recognised music label “groove on”!
