TRYB

The group named TRYB [tribe] was formed in the spring of 2000 by a collaboration of Kürt Filipe (rhythm), Tom-X Gaviali (melodies) and R2K (lyrics and concepts).

Before 2000 Kürt Filipe and R2K have already worked on other projects. Their style was a mix of techno and abstract melodies. When Tom-X Gaviali joined them, after some months of experimenting with different styles, they have finally found their true calling and settled within the genre of Trance.

As the years passed, the members of the group became obsessed by this style. The true goal of their work is to unfold real emotions in their music, and to make their unique blend of 80’s influenced Trance style more popular in their region and internationally.

Tom-X Gaviali: His interest in music goes back to the eighties, where he was amazed by the sounds and music made by synthesizers. He is still influenced today by analogue synthesizer sounds and the techno pop era. Although group’s instrumentation is slightly hard, its still the emotions and melodies that play the main role within his music.

R2K: His inspiration for abstract melodies comes from softwares and cyber culture. All the lyrics are made by him. Besides lyrics, he has enriched the group with his musical concepts and ideas.

Kürt Filipe: He started as a techno DJ – this is how his interest in music creation has started. He is responsible for the arrangements and the rhythms within the songs. He is the engine of the team.
