Counter Pulse Series 11

Keeping the very strong CP10's pace, the 11th installment is again one for the techno purists that like their music deep and dark. The A-side opens up with 'Diutisk' by the Dutch Pjotr G and his mate Dubiosity. Their original is a banging affair, containing pulsating, throbbing synthlines and just the kind of energy for those peaktime moments. Their track scores a pretty exclusive and rare Dimi Angelis & Jeroen Search remix. Well known for their sound on the infamous A&S records, they deliver the goods here as well, as their remix was already played by Jeff Mills and charted by Jonas Kopp.

The B-side has another very talented guy at the controls; Patrick Krieger. The original mix of 'Access' has some nifty-used percussion sounds leading in to a droning and haunting chord stab, while also keeping the energy pace high. Expect a lot to come from this guy! The remix duties for 'Access' are taken care of by Donor, who takes Krieger's elements and delves even deeper into hypnotic-techno-land. With every passing second, the track is growing on you, which closes the CP11 package, and, again, makes it one not to be missed.
