ABOUT Robert Raine

Like music, everything and everyone must move forward. Webster’s Dictionary defines this word as: directed toward a point in advance; moving ahead; onward: a forward motion. Robert Raine is proving this known definition as he continues to move forward in his musical career pushing the balance between great and amazing music.

Originally from the mean streets of East Los Angeles growing up around graffiti and violence, Robert sought refuge in music. In the early 90’s his love and fascination with the style known as Techno Music really sparked excitement and curiosity for this strange and unique sound. Since then Robert has moved forward and tried different styles of electronic music. He incorporates different music to his sets creating unique melodic clusters of sound that can only be described best in one word “DRIVING”. Currently his style is a mixture of Tech House, Techno, Minimal, and House Music.

Moving forward Robert ran his very one online radio show called “Dark Radio” This on-line radio station featured Robert Raine mixing Tech House, Minimal, Techno, and House music. He featured a “New Joint” segment to showcase new tracks, and one special guest DJ was invited to be a part of the “Hear Dark Mix”. It was very well prepared with A+ production. Dark Radio past guest included DJ’s like, Sharam Jey, Till West, Jason Blakemore, Josh The Funky 1, and Dave Dresden just to name a few. Dark Radio ran for a period of one year and you can still find archived Pod Cast on iTunes.

Moving forward once again we bring you to the year 2010 Robert is exploring the world of production, producing a wide spectrum of electronic music like Tech House, Techno, Progressive House, Minimal, and House music. Robert’s sound production is unique and distinguishable amongst Dj’s and club enthusiast. He is currently working on multiple music projects with some of the top electronic producers and vocalist and gaining more and more acclaim as each track or remix he produces gets released.
