Shkval is a Swedish electronic music duo, operating from Stockholm. Both members having shared interest in house and techno started producing together under the alias during 2012.
Mixing analogue and digital synths together with samplers and software, the focus of Shkval is to serve as a creative platform for musical experimentation.
With little ambition of fitting in a specific sound or genera, together with a studio workflow with few restrictions, the benefits become very clear. It enhances creativity and innovation.
The shared goal is to deliver tracks for the dancefloor with the desire not to become restricted by pigeonholing.
