YARIV ETZION was born in Haifa, ISRAEL and started his musical life as a hard rock drummer. He has played with few metal bands for over 10 years. Since 1995 until today, Yariv has performed live and as a DJ in every major club in Israel, supporting many top dj’s from all over the world. In 2002 he has opened the “bpm college of sound & music in israel” which is currently the largest contemporary music college in his country.
Since then he started composing a variety of electronic styles. The project “Stereo Underground” was made to showcase a modern take on progressive dance music with a special focus on quality, hi fi production. The live performances of Stereo Underground build slowly from minimal techno, thru to more progressive styles.
