Fuzoku – Noir

The eclectic musical project Fuzoku is back on track with another solid release ‘Noir’ inspired by cultural aesthetics that emerged in the 1980s / 1990s.

Nick Sabev (founding member) describes the original track composition as a ‘meditative & transcendental piece that brings me back to the early rave days and the after-hours where movies such as Twin Peaks, X-Files and Atom Egoyan’s Exotica were broadcasted in dark and hazy rooms.

What a journey this release has been – what an honour to have all these amazing Japanese artists on remix duties.’ At the forefront of the remix list, there is one of the longest running DJ’s on the Tokyo club circuit – DJ Wada, followed by Kensuke Fukushima, Hiroyuki Arakawa, Takashi Watanabe & lefthandsoundsystem.
